Success Stories

Phantom

Male Schipperke, 5 years old, 25 pounds, does well with other dogs and cats. Handsome boy--pure bred. Adopted May 2010

Cesar

Adpopted March 2008! Cesar is a large Great Dane mix who arrived at the shelter in terrible condition, physically and emotionally. His foster mom restored his health and confidence, and now he has a new owner and a great new life. He was so happy, he licked the camera!

Rambo

Adopted June 2008! Formerly Roscoe, this sweet dachshund mix found his forever home with a young couple in Charlotte. He's set for life!

Lucy

Lucy went to her new home on Aug. 23, 2008. She'll be the beloved companion of her wonderful new owner and live happily ever after!

Jake

Jake (formerly Decker) is one lucky boy! He found his forever home in November 2008 with folks who know how to treat their pets right!

Bridget

It took a little while to find just the right family for this large Saint Bernard mix, but once these folks saw her, it was love all the way around. She's living the good life in Winston-Salem now. Adopted March 2008.

Peppy

Oh yeah! What could be better for little Peppy than a new coat, a recliner, and a devoted new owner? This is one lucky little Chihuahua. Adopted April 2008!

Balto

It was love at first sight for Balto and his new mom. He could not be happier! Adopted November 2008.

Bernie

He's big, he drools, he sheds! But his wonderful new family thinks he's just about perfect! Poor Bernie had been through some hard times. Now, he has two children to take care of and he is getting lots of loving attention.

Bingo

We had this sweet boy in foster for quite awhile. He is so good natured and lovable, but just maybe not as flashy as some. That's okay because eventually the right folks came along, and they had eyes only for him. Have a good life, Bingo!

Bella

Formerly Azula, this little Chow Chow mix with the purple tongue found the perfect home. Her new mom drove all the way from Minnesota to get her. Look at her now--from death row at the shelter to a happy, happy life!

Fiona

This little kitten was bottle fed by her foster mom after being abandoned at two days old. She'll have all the love and security she needs now in her wonderful new home. Oct. 2008
