Gus is a handsome pure-bred, 6-year-old, 80-pound, neutered male Labrador Retriever. Sadly, he needs a new home due to serious health issues for his owner, who has had him since he was a puppy but is no longer able to care for him. He's a good boy, smart and healthy. He's reliably house trained and crate trained. (But he prefers the bed!) He is pretty good on a leash, but could use some improvement. He hasn't been around other dogs or kids much, but he has a good temperament and will probably adjust well to his new home. He can still learn and wants to please.
Gus's vaccines are up to date through fall of this year (records available). He's been on monthly prevention for heartworms, fleas and ticks. His overall health and energy are good with one "Labrador lump" on his belly that the vet says is not a concern.
